From the moment your child begins ninth grade until the time that he/she receives a high school diploma, there are many ways to help your child prepare for a successful high school experience.
Blue Card
The importance of this document cannot be overstated. Each student will receive a Blue Emergency Contact Card to complete upon entering PATHS. This document collects parent/guardian contact information, emergency contact information and other valuable information that your child’s school needs to know. Please be sure to update the information every time there is a change to (your job, home address, phone number, etc.)
School Readiness
Students must come to school every day prepared to work in every class. At the start of each semester, teachers will inform students about the supplies they will need. At the start of the school year, students should receive the requirements for each of their classes. Your child’s teachers should share with you their grading and homework policies. You need to familiarize yourself with these two policies so that it is clear what is expected of your child.
